What Overwatch is
Overwatch, by Lazarus Sensors, shows likely fires detected from satellite data, including NOAA GOES, NASA FIRMS, INPE, EUMETSAT and Copernicus sources, processed by Lazarus's own algorithms. It is an early-warning aid.
Not an emergency service
Satellite detections can be late, missed or wrong: clouds, smoke, small fires and sun glint all affect them. Don't rely on Overwatch as your only source for safety decisions. If you see a fire, call your local emergency number (193 in Brazil, 911 in the United States).
